More About Camp
Providing summer camp learning experiences for students ages 9 to 15, Salish Sea Expeditions enables participants to explore the depths of Puget Sound from a 63' historic wooden schooner. With careful supervision and patient instruction, students will learn how to sail, navigate, and pilot the vessel. When not involved with sailing, students will be able to design and conduct their own group marine science research project, using the latest in research equipment and exploration tools. Marine scientists will be aboard to assist students in their experiments. Evenings are spent around the campfire, camping at a local marine state park. This marine science sailing adventure is the experience of a lifetime. Participants will have an adventure they'll remember fondly for years.
Additional programs are available through partnerships with the Pacific Science Center, The Seattle Aquarium, and IslandWood.
