Campers participate in various programs and hands-on activities, some of which are "camper's choice", which they choose when they send in registration. Activities and programs include topics such as wildlife ecology, water quality, fisheries, forestry, and outdoor skills (orienteering, canoeing, archery, etc.). There are also competitions between camper cabins including a scavenger hunt and a campfire-building contest, as well as time for socializing around the campfire, free swim time, and enjoying camp's natural surroundings.
