Your little ones will love exploring at the San Joaquin Marsh with “Summer Smiles” (ages 5-6) or “Project Discovery” (ages 7-10). Children can interact with nature, discover animals and put their tinkering skills to the test.
Summer Smiles (Ages 5-6):
Let your young explorer spend time outdoors at “Summer Smiles” where they can take a walk on the wild side of science. Investigating insects and bugs, campers can interact with nature on scenic hikes and learn about the Marsh’s natural filtration ponds. 2013 “Summer Smiles” Camp Dates (9am-12:30pm M-F): July 1-5, July 8-12, August 5-9.DSC Members: $125 Non-Members: $135.
Project Discovery (Ages 7-10):
Do you have a future engineer or young builder? “Project Smiles” has hands-on activities for the little tinkerer in your household. Creating a variety of science projects, campers can investigate the Solar System, drop an egg without breaking it and even build a catapult. 2013 “Project Discovery” Camp Dates (9am-2:30pm M-F): July 15-19, July 22-26, July 29-August 2, August 12-16.DSC Members: $180. Non-Members: $190.
