The Summer Art Academy seeks to develop the artistic gifts unique to each student. Small classes allow for maximum individual attention. All teachers are degreed, certified art teachers in the Gilbert Public School system.

More About Camp

The Summer Art Academy is in its 21st year. Morning and afternoon classes are held from June 4 – June 28, for 1st thru 9th grades from 8:30 – 3:30. One and two week sessions are available - the student could enroll in classes the entire month of June. The Visual Arts classes offered are: Sculpture, clay, jewelry, cartooning, painting, and drawing. All the classes are taught by Gilbert School certified art teachers. The Academy meets at New Hope Education Building, 1380 E. Guadalupe Rd., Gilbert. $60 for 8 hours of class. $110 for 16 hours of class. Call Faye Koerselman at (480) 892-1581.
