More About Camp
At the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, SUMMER STUDY at THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO at BOULDER offers a 3-week enrichment program for qualified students completing 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade.

Summer Study has a wide variety of enrichment classes including Expository Writing, Speed Reading, Journalism, Calculus, Study Skills, Introduction to Art, Community Service, Photography, Business/Marketing/Advertising, Theater, the renowned Kaplan SAT Preparation course, Habitat for Humanity community service workshops and more. Students have use of the extensive sports and recreational facilities on campus through organized afternoon activities as well as recreational outdoor hiking, biking and roller-blading excursions conducted daily. In addition, students can join one of eight available clinics in soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, fitness training, yoga, rock climbing or guitar. Fun-filled evenings include concerts, shows, dance clubs, movies, broomball, skit/talent night and other great activities.

To feel the brisk mountain air and experience the great outdoors, students will take 4 WEEKEND EXCURSIONS in the 3-week program to the highlights of Colorado. Students will visit Vail and Breckenridge, winter home of the skiing jetsetters, Pike"s Peak, Colorado Springs, a whitewater rafting trip, and finally a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. These weekend trips afford Summer Study students the opportunity to hike, horseback ride and experience the Colorado wildlife and Western culture all in the perfect summer climate. Our EXCLUSIVE CONCEPT of weekend travel is included in the program fees and completes "THE TOTAL PRECOLLEGIATE EXPERIENCE" at The University of Colorado at Boulder.
