SUMMER STUDY IN PARIS @ The Sorbonne is a three-week or five-week program for qualified high school students completing 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade. FRENCH is offered on every level or students may select courses from a variety of subjects taught 100% in ENGLISH. PARIS IS OUR CLASSROOM. Classes include Creative Writing, Journalism, Art History, the world-renowned Kaplan SAT Preparation course, Speed Reading, International Law, Fashion & Design, and other exciting offerings. Students participate in organized cultural outings to: The Louvre, Centre Georges Pompidou, Musee Picasso and more. Recreational activities include: strolling the Champs-Elysees, browsing and "people watching" at Paris' outdoor cafes and markets, riding to the top of the Eiffel Tower, swimming at the Aquaboulevard Aquatic Park, cheering at the finish line of the Tour de France and scaling Europe's largest rock climbing wall. Fun-filled, supervised evenings include shows, Parisian dance clubs, movies, cruising the Seine River, bowling, skit night and much more.
Three full-day excursions in both programs enable our students from around the world to visit sights outside of Paris as well. Trips to the Palace of Versailles, the Loire Valley (Chateau Country), and Disneyland Paris are INCLUDED in the program fee. Plus, there is an optional LONDON WEEKEND (in the 5-week program only)!
