During the Summer Camp at The Ford Center for Reading, children with learning disabilities and related difficulties (dyslexia, auditory processing disorder, ADD/ADHD, among others) will learn to read and write while having FUN.
General information:
Specializing in phonemic awareness, reading, fluency, comprehension, spelling, writing, attention difficulties, math, vocabulary, following directions, expression, handwriting, test-taking, organizational and study skills.
Experience with Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD and Central Auditory Processing Disorder.
Areas of expertise: Dyslexia, LD remediation, advocacy, IEPs, college counseling/preparation, strategies, educational program design, consulting, and evaluations.
