More About Camp
The Walden School offers a comprehensive educational music program as well as a variety of exciting and enriching opportunities for musical growth. The program includes daily instruction in musicianship, composition, and a variety of other stimulating subjects; intensive choral training; and weekly Composers Forums, during which students' original compositions are performed in a concert setting. The Walden School Concert Series serves to bring artists to Walden who provide a stimulus to creativity and who perform great music for the community and the public.
The Walden School is in residence for five weeks each summer on the beautiful campus of the Dublin School in southwestern NH. Our community consists of approximately 50 young musicians, ages 9-18 from all over the world, 11 teaching faculty, 6 staff members, two resident ensembles and at least one resident composer.
