Broadway quality in a suburban campus atmosphere. Founded in 1985, the program expanded to NYC in 2000. A "serious fun" program for talented 7-19 year-old students looking for a unique performing arts experience! Musical Theatre, Dance and a Teen Acting Ensemble. In residence at the Professional Performing Arts Center at Queensborough College! NEW Fifth Week Cabaret Workshop. A professional environment allows students to grow their skills, discover their talents, work with Broadway professionals and perform. A full day of theatre arts. If you want to be in show biz or want to learn what it is all about, then this is the workshop for you. Great prep for performing arts high schools, conservatories, colleges, and for those auditioning for school shows and more. Includes classes such as acting, musical theatre, voice, dance, on-camera, mime, comedy improvisation, audition technique, and more. Classes are conducted by industry professionals from Broadway, Regional Theatre, Film & TV. See a sampling of the professionals you will be working with on the Web site. Includes student performances in a fully staged, sell-out, song and dance revue on a professional stage. Teen Drama will also perform their own production at the Shadow Box Theatre.
