A "serious fun" program for talented 8-19 year-old students looking for a unique performing arts experience! Musical Theatre, Dance and an Actors Conservatory Ensemble all directed by working show business professionals. Five performance companies by age & ability so you spend your day with other talented students in YOUR age group. In residence at the 800-seat Professional Performing Arts Center at Queensborough Community College! NEW One-Week Audition Prep Workshop for those planning to audition for performing arts colleges and high schools. Get professional coaching to maximize your chances of getting into the school of your choice.

A professional environment in all of our summer programs allows students to grow their skills, discover their talents, work with Broadway professionals and perform. A full day of theatre arts. If you want to be in show biz or want to learn what it is all about, then this is the summer camp workshop for you. Includes classes such as acting, musical theatre, voice, dance, on-camera, mime, comedy improvisation, audition technique, and more. Classes are conducted by industry professionals from Broadway, Regional Theatre, Film & TV. See a sampling of the professionals you will be working with on the Web site. Includes student performances in a fully staged, sell-out, song and dance revue on a professional stage. Actors Conservatory will perform a fully staged play in the Shadow Box Theatre. Both performances open to the public.

Full day, four-week program. 2013 dates: Actors Conservatory July 1-28. Musical Theatre July 8 - Aug. 4. Audition Prep Workshop Aug. 5-11.
