LEGO® Beginning Engineering Camps – Grades K-2
Using LEGO elements, children work in pairs to design, build and test basic LEGO models each day. This series of engaging, hands-on activities will develop students’ understanding of science, engineering and mathematics concepts – all while fine-tuning their teamwork, motor and problem-solving skills. Concepts such as gears, wheels and axles, pulleys, and levers will be introduced.
Fee: $99 single/$89 sibling
Session A June 10-14 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Session B July 8-12 12:30-3:30 p.m.

LEGO® Intermediate Engineering Camps – Grades K-2
Camp projects include the elements of beginning engineering but are new and different and increase in complexity. Challenged creative time is included. Decision-making, logic and problem solving are increased as competitions are introduced and challenged creative time becomes more focused.
Fee: $99 single/$89 sibling

LEGO® WeDo Robotics Beginning Camp – Grades 3-5
LEGO Education WeDo Robotics hardware and software programming uses the motivational advantages of robotics to teach math, science and technology concepts while having fun! Campers work in pairs to build LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors; program their models; and explore a series of cross-curricular, wild animal theme-based activities. Simple drag and drop interface allows students to learn the basics of computer programming while having fun controlling their creations.
Fee: $149 single/$134 sibling

LEGO® WeDo Robotics Intermediate Camp – Grades 3-5
Campers will build upon skills learned in beginning robotics camp and apply critical thinking, problem solving and creativity skills as they design increasingly complex robots. Intermediate courses offer new designs and challenges.

LEGO® WeDo Robotics Advanced Camp- Grades 3-6
Build robots with a variety of LEGO power functions added to the standard WeDo Robotics kit. Explore the LEGO RCX robotics platform in preparation for LEGO Mindstorms. Learn object-oriented programming basics with Alice; a free software toll which allows students to create and program their own characters, scences, and trinkets. Must have completed Beginning WeDo Robotics.

LEGO® Storytime Simple Fun Camps- Grades K-2
Integrating children's books and storytelling with LEGO construction opens a new world of learning for children. Using well-known children's books, students will bring stories to life as they recreate characters, plots and storylines by constructing LEGO structures then re-telling and making new stories. Children utilize listening, logic and creative skills as they progresss from simple books to creating their own stories while having fun with hands-on LEGO construction. Curriculum complements the reading common core standards.

Session F July 22-26 8:30-11:30 a.m.

LEGO® Storytime Robotics Fun Camps- Grades 3-5
Using key language arts and reading common core standards, Storytime Robotics Fun camp highlights the basic structures of well-composed youth stories and current topics and integraes hands-on LEGO WeDo Robotics construction and technology to recreate storylines and initiate storytelling. Students will develop their own stories in a visual and creative way and learn to represent ideas in different media as they build teamwork and communication skills in a fun and engaging environment. Must have completed WeDo Robotics Beginning.
Fee: $149 single/$134 sibling
Session G June 24-28 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Session H July 22-26 12:30-3:30 p.m.



* LEGO® kits are reused by other camps. Children will not take them home at the end of the camp session.
