Camp Icaghowan has small, single-gender cabin groups of 8-10 campers and 2 staff. Campers sleep in rustic cabins on Lake Wapogasset. After enjoying enriching outdoor activities, cabins provide a space for reflection before going to sleep each night.
It’s not just all the fun they’ll have. It’s not just all the new skills they’ll learn. It’s not even the new friends they’ll make in their cabin. Camp is an amazing experience because of the values that will be instilled in them while they’re having fun, learning new skills and making new friends. When a camper tries new things they build their self-esteem, self reliance, resourcefulness and self-confidence. Camp’s positive-reinforcing environment and camper-focused staff makes this possible.
