Hunting Camp teaches the necessary skills to be a knowledgeable outdoors person. Each camper will qualify for the Texas Hunter Education Card, expand their knowledge of firearms, archery, outdoor survival skills and culminate in a hunt. Your child will graduate
from this program with respect for firearm safety and a sense of responsibility for our world’s natural heritage.

Cowboy Camp was born from the childhood dream of being a real working cowboy. The camp teaches ethics, team work, and personal strength of a working cowboy while having fun. Campers will learn basic horsemanship skills, grooming, saddling, roping, equine science, cattle work and other facets of the cowboy life. The whole week will be spent on horseback complete with an overnight trail ride in the pasture.

Advanced Cowboy Camp will further expand the horizons of the campers. It is a more in depth experience with horsemanship abilities. The participants will have more opportunities to demonstrate their horsemanship abilities.

Adventure Camp is the perfect program for the camper that wants to experience as much as possible. While here at the Y.O. All campers will go through basic hunter education and safety, archery, shot guns, rifles, basic horsemanship safety, trail riding, team
building, high ropes course and a climbing tower.

Junior Guide School is for our advanced and return hunting campers to learn more in-depth process to hunting and guiding. Campers will receive similar instruction as in Hunting Camp, but will spend time
learning in the field from one of our Y.O. Ranch Guides. They will also have the opportunity to guide their own hunt for their trophy.
