The Young Artist Residency Program 2010 at The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts is designed for high school students who will be entering their junior or senior year in the Fall of 2010. This intensive program of four-weeks of classes and art-making during July is designed to offer a professional art college experience while living on campus.

A student who applies and is selected to attend will:

*Select a full schedule of classes from over 50 exciting course offerings in the areas of Artistry, Technology, and Professions in the Visual Arts
*Discover Boston, a beautiful world-class city rich in history, the arts, nearby beaches, and consistently ranked #1 of the "Big City College Towns"
*Join a thriving art college community
*Receive 6 college credits for successful completion of courses and enrichment activities
*Earn incentives for applying and enrolling in AIB as a college choice
*Strengthen your portfolio and become the artist you were meant to be
*Learn the high-tech side of art-making by gaining experience with state-of-the-art computer software and hardware

We are particularly excited about recruiting students who live and study abroad to create the most diverse, rich, and creative art-making environment possible.

Arrival: July 6, 2010
Classes Begin: July 7, 2010
Classes End: July 30, 2010
Art Exhibition: July 30, 2010 (6:00 - 8:00 p.m.)
Departure: July 31, 2010

Application Deadline: May 17, 2010
International Student Deadline: March 12, 2010
