During this weeklong, day and overnight program, ages 7-17 experience summer tech fun. Students create 2D and 3D video games, model 3D characters with Maya®, modify popular games like Unreal Tournament® 3, design websites with Flash®, build robots then compete against their classmates, learn programming, create a digital arts portfolio, film & edit digital movies, produce stunning blockbuster special effects and more.
With an average of just six students per instructor, students receive hands-on, project-based instruction from fun, tech-savvy staff and are given the attention they need to excel. Students complete a project by the end of the week while also getting first-hand exposure to a university which they may consider attending. By the end of the week students gain a sense of empowerment, independence and self-confidence as they learn to articulate their creativity through technology.
