We pay the best salaries to recruit the best staff!
Nothing is more important than our staff and we know it. If you are a hard working individual who enjoys children, you may be just the person we're searching for. Staff members must be able to put kids first at all times.
It is also essential that staff members be strong role models for our campers. And because we're working with kids, we have strict policies in many areas including cell phones, alcohol, smoking, curfew, etc. While it is preferable that our staff members have some experience working with children, this is not a prerequisite. Many program areas require skills and certifications to safely operate and this is a priority.
COUNSELOR/INSTRUCTOR (college students) BENEFITS: Travel allowance is available. Room, board and laundry services are provided. You have no expenses! Nights-off and days-off are scheduled throughout the summer. Pre and post camp employment is available. Top caliber college-enrolled staff recruited from across US and Europe provides a stimulating social experience. Staff lounge with high-speed internet access is available to staff. We're approximately 2 1/2 hours from New York City. An easy online application is posted at http://www.lohikan.com/staffrec.htm.
TEACHERS/COACHES/SUPERVISORS (professionals) BENEFITS: In addition to the benefits listed above, senior staff members are provided private rooms. Families are accommodated in private cabins. Tuition scholarships are available for children of our supervisory staff.
