It's all about our culture! River Way Ranch Camp is an award-winning Residential Summer camp for children. Family owned and operated since 1967, River Way is located in the foothills of the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Not only do we focus on the development of our campers; but also we pride ourselves on our unique ability to evolve our staff summer after summer
Daily responsibilities consist of supervising the health and safety of campers with help from a co-counselor and our incredible managers. You will also be responsible for teaching activities. The more you learn in our training, the more exciting your schedule will be! Additionally, you are entertaining children, and being a role model with a great attitude.
River Way Counselors double as the activity instructors. Activities taught by counselors are a mixture of ones acquired by River Way training and those that the counselor already knew before coming to camp. (For example, If you have no clue how to teach archery, we will train you to teach and facilitate archery. Additionally, if you are joining us as a black belt in martial arts, you will be able to teach that too!)
