For more than 50 years,Up With People has provided young adults an international, educational and intercultural experience that teaches service leadership and uses the performing arts to deliver messages of hope and goodwill throughout the world. And now, there is a summer camp designed for High school age students. We are located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia USA, just 2 hours west of Washington, DC and just a few miles outside the city of Harrisonburg, VA. These three-week long camps will be focused on four main areas, which mirror those of Up with People: Performing Arts – Leadership – Service – Culture

Dates for summer session 2018:
July 1 - July 21
July 22 - August 11

There will be typical camp activities, including swimming, horseback riding, campfires and MORE! Also, some outdoor activities like, zip-line, rock climbing and high/low ropes courses (these are optional). They will visit Washington, DC and be involved with community service projects in the Harrisonburg area. At the end of the three weeks, the campers will put on a professionally produced performance, showcasing your talents, cultures and hopes for the world that reflects the Up with People spirit.

Also, as an extra incentive, for any Camp UWP attendee who later applies and is accepted to travel in the Up with People program, UWP will award a $1,000US Camp UWP Participant Scholarship toward their UWP program fee!
