Dollhouse Fashion Camp was created to give girls a creative outlet while promoting inner and outer beauty as well as self-confidence and self-esteem, in a three week summer session.

Girls with a love for fashion will be directed and mentored by Tricee B, owner of A Tricee B Apparel Company.

Tricee B. has been an industry professional for over 17 years and a honored graduate of the prestigious and renowned Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), one of the worlds paramount schools for the fashion trade. Tricee B. and her “Mod Squad” have joined forces to create the ultimate fashion camp for girls.

2. Music Day Camp 2012, Scottsdale Studio of Music
Scottsdale, Arizona

A FUN AND ENRICHING MUSIC DAY CAMP FOR STUDENTS AGES 5-12! Camp musicians choose their favorite instrument to play. Music learning is enhanced through computer music games, songwriting, composition, and music-themed art.

CALLING ALL ASPIRING YOUNG MUSICIANS! Our fun and enriching week-long music camps offer a fun and friendly learning environment for students ages 5-6, 7-9, and 10-12. Camp musicians choose one or two favorite instrument classes: piano, singing, violin, viola, cello, flute, or acoustic guitar. Computer music games, songwriting, music composition, and music-themed art uniquely supplement the learning experience. Each week finishes with Grand Finale Friday, showcasing student performances and music creations.

Weekly sessions run from June 4th through August 3rd. Families choose from morning (9am-12noon), afternoon (1pm-4pm), or take two sessions to make a full-day (9am-4pm). Cost is $125 per half-day week or $250 per full-day week. Add extended hours to fit your schedule: early drop-off (8am-9am), lunch hour from 12noon-1pm, or late pickup at 5pm. $10 additional fee for each extended-hour option or $30 per week.


PIANO KEYS FOR KIDS: Campers will learn music reading and rhythm skills by playing familiar tunes and participating in rhythm and music games.

PIANO DUO FUN: Pianists will practice their group piano-playing skills by learning fun and motivating piano duets. Group-playing skills develop rhythmic and music listening skills in a fun and exciting way! (For experienced pianists Ages 7-9 and 10-12 only.)

MOVE TO THE BEAT & SING: Kids will explore their natural singing voice while learning basic breathing techniques and music reading skills. Older kids will learn how to add meaningful movements to their songs as they perform, and younger singers will play movement and music games to help them feel the rhythm of the songs.

STRUM SOME CHORDS: All playing levels welcome for the group acoustic guitar class! Campers will learn to play their own individual musical parts with the rest of their class. Not only will guitarists learn to play a song with multiple parts, they will further explore music reading and rhythm skills.

FLUTE AND RECORDER CLASS: Campers will learn to play some familiar tunes on their instrument along with developing music reading and rhythm skills. (For ages 7 and older only. Ages 7-8 will play recorders, and ages 9-12 will play flute.)

GROUP STRINGS (VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO): Campers can choose their favorite stringed instrument and learn beginning playing skills for the first time, or enjoy improving their existing level of playing skill. Campers will learn to play familiar tunes on their instrument while developing better musical tone and improving music reading and rhythm skills.


MUSIC THEORY FUN & GAMES: Campers will learn more about music reading, rhythm, notation, and listening skills through participating in group theory games, organized and supervised by the instructor. Each camper will also have a turn to play fun and interactive music learning computer games.

SONGWRITING/COMPOSITION: Campers will learn basic composition and music notation skills by writing a song for their favorite instrument.

MUSIC-THEMED ART: Campers will participate in coloring, drawing, and art projects that coordinate with music learning.

4. Martial Arts & Sports Summer Camp - Scottsdale & Paradise Valley

Build basic martial arts skills. Three martial arts classes each day, agility exercises for strength, endurance and coordination, challenging kids mentally and physically. Weekly field trips.

We offer seasonal Martial Arts Camps including Summer, Fall Break, Winter Break and Spring Break. Your child will learn new skills, make new friends and have hours of fun in a safe, controlled environment. It's a great way for a beginning child to build basic martial arts skills or for the experienced martial artist to better their skills.

At our Camps, kids enjoy three formal martial arts classes each day in traditional Shorin-Ryu Karate, Jujitsu, Okinawan Weapons, History, Fitness and more. Classes also include agility exercises and drills to build strength, endurance and coordination for the Martial Arts. They gain life-skills like problem solving, conflict resolution, respect, discipline and confidence. Hours of fun are spent playing structured games and sports that challenge kids mentally and physically. Kids also participate in weekly field trips like the Valley Youth Theatre, bowling, the Japanese Friendship Garden, rock climbing and more. It's a new day, everyday!

5. Scottsdale Bible Church Summer Arts Camp
Scottsdale, Arizona

Scottsdale Bible Church (SBC) is now accepting registrations for its summer music and performing arts camp. The camp will run from June 6-10, 2011 and is open to students entering grades 4-12 in the fall.

Camp fees are $25. The camp will conclude with a student-led Worship Celebration at SBC on Friday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m.

This summer’s 11th annual camp offers dual programs for grades 4 through 6 (Creative Kidz) and grades 7 through 12 (Student Arts Leadership Training or SALT). Creative Kidz will participate in singing, art, drama, dance and stomp band from 9-11:30 am each day. SALT students will have track options in singing, worship band performance, art, dance, drama, stomp band or technical arts from 1-3:30 each day.

All campers will have breakout sessions in the student’s specific area of interest, and a corporate time of singing and worship. Auditions are not required to participate in the camp, but experience is required when selecting the instrumental options.

The $25 per student camp fee is valid through May 31. After that, fees will increase to $30 per student. Online registration is now open Scholarships are available and can be applied for during the online registration.
