Video game design, animation, LEGO robotics, and digital movies are just some of the possibilities for kids in grades 2-8 at Children's Technology Workshop's icamp. Each child creates his or her own experience by choosing an Adventure theme, such as Mission to Mars, Medieval, Fashion Design, or Music Mogul, to develop a story. Then they combine technology applications to make their vision a reality. Every child works on their own projects and laptops, letting them create their own experience working with the stories and technologies that interest them most.
Our trained instructors guide all campers in projects that suit their age, interests, and skill level to ensure a fun and rewarding experience for everyone. We break throughout the day for group and outdoor activities. The week ends with the Friday Showcase of final projects played for parents, and campers take their digital projects home to enjoy and share.

Campers create their own experience by choosing one of 11 adventure themes- such as Mission to Mars, Team F1, Medieval, and Fashion Designer, to name a few- to develop a story for their project. Then they combine technology applications to make their visions reality. Project plans and tutorials help teach about programming and design, and our trained instructors guide all campers in projects that suit their age, interests, and skill level to ensure a fun and rewarding experience for everyone. Summer school classes and activities, which include math, science, English, language, art and tennis workshops, are designed to create a positive and supportive learning environment within a small group setting. We offer a solid line-up of courses taught by experienced and caring teachers and mentors. In addition, each student may elect as little or as much from our program as individual needs or interests dictate. Unique combinations can be tailored to individual needs.
Academic classes can be paired with art and tennis workshops to create a full day of studies and activity on campus. Summer offerings include various math, science, language, English, history, computer and test preparation courses. The art workshops include photography, theatre, woodworking, sculpture, jewelry making, cartooning, pottery and painting/drawing. Tennis workshops are available for beginners and more advanced players.
We also offer a three-week intensive program which includes math and English workshops for grades 6-12 and SAT Test Preparation for high school students.
The sport camps are tailored to separate ages and skill levels with the intent to improve both individual fundamentals and level of play. Homogenous groups, according to age, grade and playing experience, are established for skills, instruction and games. Good sportsmanship and the need for cooperative learning are stressed. The director of each camp is a qualified professional as well as a teacher/coach in the Belmont Hill tradition. The camps that will be offered in 2008 include baseball, advanced baseball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, softball, field hockey, strength and conditioning, wrestling and junior sports.
