The Dexter and Southfield Schools in Brookline offer what some parents call “one-stop camping.” For kids ages 3 1/2 through 15 and interests ranging from sports to drama, the Schools offer five camps in one, including some inter-camp combination choices. With seven school bus routes covering many towns around the Boston area, parents can put all their children on one bus and off they go to Day Camp, Science Camp, Hockey Camp Enrichment Camp, or Tennis Camp. The camps offer 8 weeks of program from mid-June to August. Depending on the program, prices range from $305 to $645 per week. Over 70 activities at the various day camps, depending on age group, can include model rocketry, astronomy, ham radio, electronics, LEGO robotics, yoga, stained glass, canoeing, theatre, fencing, archery, tennis, ice hockey, and swimming. Some of the specialty programs tend to fill quickly, so parents should make choices by mid-March. There are several open houses during the spring school vacation weeks, although private campus tours may be requested at any time.

My Kingdom for a Stage - summer drama camp for ages 12-18
Dates: August 6-17 ($450 per student)
Our teen camp is a great way for your young thespian (or just curious teen) to sink his or her teeth into acting technique and an incredibly funny, tragic, exciting, and moving play - Shakespeare's Hamlet. Ghosts, intrigue, battles, people acting crazy, relationship and family drama, and much more.
The program will run for 2 weeks from 9am-3pm each day. It is ideal for experienced actors as well as beginners. We will play drama games and also learn about the play Hamlet and present an abridged version on the final day of camp. The session will feature workshops with several theater professionals. Each day we'll head down to the park for lunch and outdoor activities. A great way to make new friends, have fun, and perform in a classic play. Actors will make all sets and props in addition to performing.
Into the Belly of the Whale - summer drama camp for ages 7-12

In addition to our drama and art activities, we will walk to nearby
Emerson Park every day (weather permitting) for lunch and outdoor play.
We will culminate in a performance of Pinocchio on the final day, Friday
August 31, at 5pm. Camp runs from 9am-3pm each day. Before and after care are available as well
