Computers, athletics such as ice hockey, swimming, music, and photography are just a few of the many offerings awaiting youngsters at Dexter Day Camp. The superior facilities, on a beautiful 36-acre hilltop location, include a modern art center, a computer center, an extensive shop studio, an indoor/outdoor pool, a gymnasium, an ice skating rink, and numerous playing fields.

Children take classes in music, acting, dance, and art. Children work together to create an original musical production. Classes are taught by professional artist/educators.

Now in our ninth year, A Step Ahead Inc. has become a year-round operation offering clinics and camps in all seasons. In 2005, over 500 participants have entered our camps and clinics. Our participants have come from countries as far away as Japan, Israel and Spain as well as from cities including: Newton, Needham, Waltham, Boston, Brookline, Natick, Saugus, Marblehead, Hubbardston, Washington D.C. and Bangor Maine.
