Watertown Summer Camps

A great introduction to our year- round program. This is a way for new and current students to make huge strides in the performance abilities. Students receive intensive individual and group lessons on the instrument of their choice. The program culminates in a live show. This is an ideal program for advanced beginners.

Duration: 1 Week

SCHOOL VACATION CAMPS (ALL CAMPS RUN 9a-3p):

o February Break - 2/20-2/24 ($500 – 20% discount if you register by 1/30)
o April Break - 4/16-4/20 ($500 – 20% discount if you register by 2/15)

SUMMER CAMPS (ALL CAMPS RUN 9a-3p):

o Session I - 6/25-6/29 ($500 – 20% discount if you register by 4/1)
o Session II - 7/9-7/13 ($500 – 20% discount if you register by 4/1)
o Session III - 7/16-7/20 ($500 – 20% discount if you register by 4/1)
o Session IV - 7/23-7/27 ($500 – 20% discount if you register by 4/1)
o Session V - 8/6-8/10 ($500 – 20% discount if you register by 4/1)
o Session VI - 8/13-8/17 ($500 – 20% discount if you register by 4/1)


Schedule: 9am - 3pm (Monday through Friday)
Max enrollment: 20

Activities include:
• ½ hour private lessons with our instructors, many of whom are Berklee-affiliated.
• Being grouped into a band of 3-5 musicians
• Learning 2 cover songs
• Writing 1 original song from scratch
• Recording your songs onto a CD
• Guitar and drum maintenance clinics.
• Learning how to promote your show.
• Performing at a show at a local rock venue!

The School of Rock Boston has 112 openings for our fabulous 2011 Rock & Roll Boot Camps, but we sell out by May of every year! This year we are looking for guitarists, bassists, singers, drummers, and keyboardists for our one-week day camps in June/July/August, which include songwriting, recording seminars, and a final concert at a real live rock venue. Ages 7-17 accepted. Camps run 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at our 120 Elm Street location in Watertown and are staffed by instructors from the Berklee College of Music.
