The South Central 4-H Center is located just north of the Harlan County Reservoir (the state’s second largest reservoir) in heart of south central Nebraska. With the water so close, South Central offers campers canoeing, fishing, and access to the dam. Our summer is filled with activities and experiences unique to this location. Whether it’s participating on the T.R.U.S.T course, splooshing down the water slide, or learning how to shoot a bow and arrow, South Central summer camp presents traditional camp activities and new frontiers for anyone. South Central Camp offers clean, air-conditioned cabins with nearby bathrooms and a well maintained lodge that has plenty of space for games, dancing, and more. Our outdoor shelter allows for summer picnics that campers love year after year. Overlooking the rural Nebraska prairies, water, and clear night skies, campers have the chance to experience the outdoors in fun new ways.
