Campers at Appel Farm are welcomed into a vibrant, artistic, and accepting community with a 50-year history of excellence. Campers of varied ages, experience levels and cultural backgrounds work together, gaining confidence in their skills as artists and feeling invigorated in their studies. They are encouraged to take full advantage of this unique opportunity for artistic and personal growth, to experiment and take chances, and to vigorously engage themselves in the arts!
Campers choose from our programs in music, theater, dance, visual arts, photography, video, recording arts, creative writing, sports and swim to design their own dynamic camp experience. Individual lessons, ensemble rehearsals and studio classes culminate in performances and exhibitions for an enthusiastic community.
We offer two, four and eight-week sessions for boys and girls age 9-17. Full Session runs from June 27-August 20, First Session runs from June 27-July 23, Second Session runs from July 25-August 20, Mini Session I runs from June 27-July 11, and Mini Session II runs from July 25-August 8, 2010. Appel Farm is located in southern New Jersey, just two and a half hours from New York City. For more information about Appel Farm, please contact Jennie Quinn or Cori North, Camp Directors. | |
