Resident Camp - Coed - Medford, New-Jersey
Camp is really, really fun.
And it's been fun for more than 80 years now. That's a lot of fun.
At Camp Dark Waters you'll go fishing, practice canoeing, try ultimate frisbee, play capture the flag, build a campfire, tell stories, swim, learn to make a lizigator...check out even more activities.
Meet some of the staff you'll get to spend time with.
A lot of kids take part in our Trailblazers or Canoeing program.
Have questions? Maybe we have the answers here.
Camp is special.
Camp is really special because of the friends you make. You'll get a chance to meet kids your age, like the other campers in your cabin. Lots of campers look forward to seeing each other summer after summer as well as meeting new campers.
"My favorite part about camp was the people"
-Jackie
"My favorite part of camp is meeting new friends, the canoeing program, the Trail Blazers program and and hanging out with the people in my cabin."

Each girl is always busy with fun activities based on the week's theme. Sacajawea's day and resident camps or Kettle Run's day camp offer opportunities to develop friendships while enjoying the beauty of the woods.
Resident Camp - Day Camp - All Girls - Newfield/Medford, New-Jersey
Camp Sacajawea, located near Newfield, NJ, is a flat, well-developed 490-acre camping area surrounding a 27-acre lake with oak and pine trees, mountain laurel, blueberries, and ferns. The Olympic-size swimming pool provides daily swim sessions. Located in the Pine Barrens in Medford, NJ, Camp Kettle Run has oak and pine trees, mountain laurel, blueberry bushes, ferns and sandy trails that surround the 11-acre lake. The "singing bridge" takes you to the island in the lake from whose beaches the girls gather for swimming and canoeing. The amphitheater provides a great stage for every girl to be in the spotlight and for the end of the week performances. A typical day at either camp may include a flag ceremony, a craft session, unit housekeeping chores, theme-week activities and some personal time. Canvas tents on wooden decks are grouped in units for girls and their counselors to gather for their daily activities. Girl Scout badgework available.
