Whether your child is straight A, struggling, or somewhere in between, chances are they’re often overwhelmed by too much homework, too many activities, and the never-ending distractions created by technology. SuperCamp teaches teens real-life strategies that help them manage their time and improve their relationships. The result—increases in their grades, confidence and motivation.

Now in its 31st year with 64,000 graduates worldwide, SuperCamp is a 7- to 10-day residential camp held on prestigious college campuses that teaches strategies for reading, writing, memorizing, studying, and problem-solving. SuperCamp combines the 8 Keys of Excellence character-building program with academic preparation and fun outdoor challenge activities to give kids an edge in learning and in life.

2. Five Yesterdays Summer Program at Old Salem Museums & Gardens - 5 Yesterdays is an interesting and fun experience for children who love to learn and thrive in small group settings. An experienced museum educator will instruct the children in a "family" setting in groups of 10.

Five Yesterdays is a one-of-a-kind learning program for rising third through eighth graders.
This program offers one-week, hands-on summer sessions which concentrate on the crafts, trades and lifestyles of the Moravians who lived in Salem in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
Children will learn history while strengthening their listening, critical thinking, and social skills. Activities are carefully planned according to age and ability, ensuring that every child benefits from the program. Activities are different each year and for each grade level.
The 5 Yesterdays traditional program meets from 9 AM - Noon, Monday through Friday for a period of one week. Activities include working with textiles, pottery, hearth cooking, and other early American skills and trades. The week culminates with a Lovefeast at Home Moravian Church each Friday.

3. Salem Spotlight - Spotlight is the perfect opportunity for intellectually curious young women from around the country to live and learn together in a place where extraordinary moments in ordinary days become treasured memories.

Salem Academy and College created "Spotlight" as a premier summer academic enrichment program for young women, a natural extension of its rich heritage and institutional commitment dating back 233 years. Salem Academy and College, founded in 1772 in Winston-Salem, NC, is the oldest girls' school in continuous operation in the nation and shares an exquisite, historic 64-acre campus with Salem College, a liberal arts college for women. Spotlight is the opportunity for bright, intellectually curious young women from around the country to live and learn together in a place where extraordinary moments in ordinary days become treasured memories.

Research supports what Salem Academy and College already know; single gender education is a positive and powerful privilege, and Spotlight is the perfect opportunity to celebrate this experience. All sessions are open to rising 8th - 12th graders. Coursework is age and aptitude appropriate, providing a challenging intellectual environment in a stimulating and supportive community. Spotlight, first and foremost, is committed to the same values that are central to Salem Academy and College. Individual freedom is valued; honesty and integrity are expected; ethical and spiritual growth is necessary; a lifetime of learning is essential.

4. iLIVE Fitness Boot Camp for Kids - iLIVE Fitness Boot Camp for Kids is a highly-energized camp program that will motivate and teach participants how to live a healthy and fit lifestyle. Camp program includes Body Diagnostics Tests, Performance Evaluation, Fitness Education, C.A.R.S. Training and a Weekly Fitness Routine.
