Whether your child is passionate about a favorite sport or just likes to play on a team, sports camps are the best way to get ready for a new season! The 422 SportsPlex SportsPlex offers a wide variety of fun and affordable camps.

The SportsPlex is a place for kids to explore a variety of sports in their Multi-Sport Camps. Kids who love any sport can participate in flag football, soccer, wiffleball, volleyball, basketball, kickball, and team handball in a safe and fun environment.

For the goal oriented participant, the One Touch Soccer Academy summer camps help kids improve their techniques and skills. Players will learn techniques to enhance their individual skill level from an experienced staff of coaches. Their staff will work with your player to strengthen any deficiencies or weaknesses. All facets of soccer (dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, and defense) will be worked on daily. The goal is to improve your child’s all-around game. Whether your child is an experienced player or only a beginner, the One Touch staff will work to take his or her game to the next level. The One Touch Soccer Camp offers both co-ed and all-girls camps, as well as general soccer camps.

If your child prefers basketball, the SportsPlex offers First Step Basketball Camps. These camps work on all aspects of basketball (ball handling, passing, shooting, and defense) throughout the week. Whether your child is an experienced player or only a beginner, the First Step staff will work to take his or her game to the next level. They prioritize high level training, but also emphasize that basketball should be played because it is fun and teaches its participants about the importance of teamwork and being a team player.

In the Little Hands & Feet Camp, children ages 4-6 can get an understanding of both soccer and basketball through learning basic coordination skills and teamwork. This camp is run by coaches skilled in both basketball and soccer, who also have experience and knowledge of working with younger children.

For the child that loves inline hockey, the SportsPlex camps teach kids more than just the basics of the game. Their coaches strive to take your kids to the next level. They offer beginner, intermediate and advanced hockey camps.

The SportsPlex also offers its Mad-Skillz Field Hockey Camp which teaches beginners the basics of field hockey; skills such as how to stop, push pass, dribble and strike the ball. The intermediates start off with the same basic lessons to evaluate their ability, and move on to dribbling and dodging skills, as well as how to recognize a “numbers up” offensive situation. Both groups work on learning man-to-man defense and learning zone defense for “numbers down” situations, for example.

Whether your child is 4 or 14, there is a fun sports camp experience waiting for him or her at The 422 SportsPlex!

Pottstown, Pennsylvania

Camp Sequoia, is an overnight camp for children and teens ages 8-17 who need help developing their social skills. Utilizing Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking framework we integrate the social thinking concepts and language into a traditional camp program. Campers choose most of their activities and swim twice per day. Weekly trips as well as optional overnight trips highlight our innovative program.

Camp Sequoia serves campers who do not need the level of support that special needs overnight camps offer yet need more than a traditional camp can offer. Our campers come from across the U.S.A. and internationally to be with us in the summer. Our campers are boys and girls with average to above average intelligence and developed language skills. The majority of our campers are diagnosed with neurological profiles that include: ADHD, mild Asperger's Syndrome, high-functioning autism and nonverbal learning differences. The focus of Camp Sequoia is to help campers improve their social skills through an innovative, active program. We offer a full season 6 week session and two separate 3 week sessions.

Located on the beautiful campus of a boarding school in Pottstown,PA (40 miles northwest of Philadelphia) Camp Sequoia is the first overnight summer camp to incorporate the Social Thinking framework into a traditional camp program. We have a staff to camper ratio of 1:3. Camp Sequoia has been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper as well as various online publications.

We welcome the opportunity to discuss if Camp Sequoia would benefit your child, please contact us today.
