Camp Trinity Rep is open for children entering grades five through twelve and offers students the opportunity to create their own art and to hone their own creative voice. The students are allowed to choose from a number of electives, depending on age and ability, which include improvisation, playwriting and storytelling, Shakespeare, audition techniques, mask-making, painting and set design, technical theater and visual media. Students are also offered instruction in voice and singing, as well as movement and dance. The camp concludes with a full-scale production featuring all sixty campers, complete with sets, costumes and lighting and performed on the Trinity Rep stage.

The JCC offers a variety of sports, arts, and general camps each week of the summer to a variety of age kids. This includes preschool camp for ages 2 to 5, a special camp just for those entering kindergarten, and a broad spectrum of specialty camps for school age kids. See our camp brochure on the web site for details, but some of the camps include: Harlem Globetrotters Basketball camp, Mad Science camp, Dance/Gymnastics camp, Creativity camp, and Sam Horn Baseball camp.

Children are offered a choice of teacher-directed activities in the morning and again in the afternoon. There is also choice time for the children in both the mornings and afternoons. On Thursdays children may bring rollerblades or scooters for use in the gym as one of the day's activities. Helmets are mandatory. There are weekly field trips. There is swimming on Monday and Wednesday mornings. The final schedule of field trips and activities will not be set until May.

Camp will be open from June 21 to August 13, Monday - Friday 7:45am - 5:00pm. We will be closed on July 5 and on August 9. We do not offer half day programs, half day rates, or flexible days. The camp is available to children from age 6-12.

June 23-27th Rick Harris Hoops Skills Basketball Camp

Rick Harris is the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Community College of Rhode Island. The objective of Hoop Skills Basketball Camp is to improve the basektball skills of each camper with program designed to teach individual fundamentals as well as team concepts. Players will be grouped according to age and ability. Daily free swim is included.
