Overnight Camps
Our sessions are small with no more then 8-12 kids who receive lots of personal attention. Girls will be taking care of their horses, feeding, cleaning stalls, tacking up their horse, grooming, bathing, and learning safety around horses when handling them and much more. Campers will ride daily, learn the basic of training horses, how to do speed events like barrels & poles, and will participate in field trips. There will also be daily teaching of horsemanship, crafts and have teaching materials that campers will be able take home with them. For more details contact us!

** Beginner's Overnight Camp
Our riding camps are individually base, so if you are just a beginner or been riding for years we teach base according to where you are at. Every camper is instructed on an individual level even when we teach in the groups. Our instructors want to see every camper be able to excel!

**Intermediate Overnight Camps
This is a more intensive riding camp. Intermediate riding skills are a must. If you are unsure of the level that your daughter is at please contact us so we can help you determine her level. Campers will be riding western, bareback, barrel racing, poles racing, etc. Campers will work with our riding instructors, and have their own, more intensive riding schedule. Besides riding, campers will be responsible for the care of their horse and tack for the week.

**Advance Overnight Camps
This camp is not for the once a year rider. It is designed for the regular lesson students who are in good riding shape. Or who have their own horse, those who bring their own horse we require horse be in good shape too. This is a more intensive riding camp then our Intermediate Level. If you are a serious rider and you want to push your riding skills to the upper limit, this is your camp! This is everyone favorite camp to excel too! There will be more times in riding in saddle as well as more intense bareback riding! We will help you and your horse to advance to next level. Riders must be comfortable at all gaits in western saddle, must be able tack up and care for their own horse.

Imagine getting up early in am and first thing you do go and feed your horses in beautiful country view, then after breakfast saddle up and ride and at night being able to enjoy the night watching sunset go down and enjoy the campfire with all your friends having s’mores. We have a blast here at camp and we look forward to having your child here to join us. For more information see our website http://www.mmhorseranch.com/.

Southwestern University is located in historic Georgetown, Texas just 30 minutes north of Austin, the state capital. Austin is known for its vibrant culture, live music, theatre, film, and art - an "intellectual capital" and one of the country's best places to live. We are excited to be hosting camp at Southwestern University for the second year. We hope you will join us.

We are excited to once again have Assistant Coach Jason Guthrie from Trinity University directing this summer's camp in Texas. Many programs around the nation would be envious of the Trinity University Tigers football team. Trinity has won 14 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference titles in the last 16 years. In addition, the Tigers have advanced to the NCAA Division III playoffs in 10 of the last 12 seasons. This past season, the Tigers finished the year at 8-2.

Coach Guthrie just completed his eighth year on the Tiger coaching staff, after seven years of coaching at the high school level in Tennessee. Guthrie spent three years as the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Brentwood H.S.

At Brentwood, he helped the team to a 29-7 record, and helped the offense to an average of better than 30 points per game. The team also won the State Championship in his final year.
Guthrie holds a B.S. in history from Kentucky Wesleyan University, and a Masters from TU in Education Leadership. The Texas camp is known for its incredible staff of enthusiastic players, coaches and players who spend day and night with campers talking football, how it has affected their lives and what it can mean to each and ever player at camp. We hope you will join us this summer and experience one of the truly outstanding football camps in the United States.
