Going Green Summer Camp
July 30 - August 3rd and August 20 - 24th. This day camp is open to campers entering 2nd - 5th grades and will engage kids in fun experiences with and in nature.
Our program gives kids the opportunity to have an active and creative outdoor learning experience close to home! Camp is Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m.—3:00 p.m.
Participants will enjoy the many unique features of our site, including trails, wetlands, the stream table, and lakes. We will focus on caring for the environment through activities related to reducing, reusing, and recycling. Additionally, children will take a field trip to learn more about waste reduction!
Cost is $150 per camper
Registration and payment required in order to hold your campers spot.
Camp Invention - Vancouver, Wa
Led by local educators, the weeklong Camp Invention experience immerses elementary school children in exciting hands-on activities that reinvent summer fun. Activities include building original prototypes, creating a personalized motor-powered vehicle, and taking apart electronics to construct an epic insect-themed pinball machine. Each lesson explores connections between science, technology, engineering and innovation.

Kids participate in each of these activities every day:
Amplified – Explore the science of the five senses and work as a team to create a bionic ear, bionic eye, etc.
Super Go – Build and modify your own motorized “morphing” vehicle to take home!
Design Studio: Morphed! – Tinker with circuits and invent solutions to nature-based challenges
I Can Invent: Pinbug – Take apart electronics to build an epic, insect-themed pinball machine
Directed and taught by qualified local educators, Camp Invention is a national STEM and creativity enrichment program from the nonprofit Invent Now. Activities also focus on developing 21st Century learning skills such as teamwork, critical thinking skills, decision-making, creative problem-solving, and working through failure.

Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
For children entering grades 1-6
Registration fee includes a camp T-shirt
