At Camp Birchwood for Girls, you become a valued member of a team of thirty or so young women from across the country and around the world, who want to make the summer something special in the lives of our campers. You might come as just a college student looking for work, but you leave as a best friend to your co-counselors, an instructor who has made all the difference, a role model a young girl will remember years from now, and a person who has done more than just a job this summer.

Wilderness Adventures: It's not summer camp, it's a way of life

Camp Birchwood for Boys (BWB) is more than your ordinary summer camp. It's a trip back in time to the days of the great voyageurs, who explored the Canadian Boundary Waters at the turn of the century, and paved the way for great expiditions and other trips into the wilderness of Northern MN. In the spirit of these great voyageurs, BWB offers a wide range of adventures to a small group of campers. Trips are led by qualified instructors of college age, who have the experience, talent, and fun, outgoing attitude that it takes to make a trip in the outdoors and adventure kids will never forget.
