Al Fracassa Quarterback Technique Camp
Purpose: To teach the fundamentals of high school quarterbacking. This is a non-contact camp and is open to all players who will be in grades 7-12 during the 2009 football season. Players in grades 7-12 who want to master basic quarterback techniques will benefit immensely from attending this camp.
When: Session 1 - July 13 & 14
Session 2 - July 16 & 17
Session 3 - July 20 & 21
Session 4 - July 23 & 24
Time: Camp begins each morning at 8:30am and concludes at 12 noon.
Location: Brother Rice High School High School, Bloomfield Hills, MI - 7101 Lahser Road, 1/2 mile south of 15 Mile Road.
Equipment: Helmet, football shoes, sneakers, shorts/t-shirt, and a football (bring a football similar to the one you will use with your high school team).
Cost: Each two-day camp session costs $75.00. Included in the camp fee are one Al Fracassa Quarterback Camp T-shirt, a quarterback fundamentals instruction book, and soft drinks at the end of each day. Each two-day instruction block is a separate, but identical camp.
Note: This camp is open, free of charge, to all coaches and family members of players attending the camp. The Al Fracassa Quarterback Technique School has been teaching the fundamentals of high school quarterbacking for 35 years. Noteworthy camp graduates include Brian Brennan (Boston College & Cleveland Browns), Dave Yarema (Michigan State and Detroit Drive), Jon English (Tulane), Bob Utter (Iowa State), Matt Baker (North Carolina and Buffalo Bills), Derek Canine (Southern Methodist), John Gieselman (Michigan State and NFL Europe), Matt Bitonti (Michigan State), Doug Pickens (University of Michigan), David Sofran (Northeastern University), Mike Cappetto (Duke University), and Jim Sorgi (University of Wisconsin and Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts).

Coach Fracassa has won numerous state and national Coach of the Year Awards, to include the 1997 NFL High School National Coach of the Year Award. He was a quarterback on Michigan State's 1952 National Championship team and 1954 Rose Bowl Championship team and has coached Brother Rice High School (MI) to 7 state championships. Coach Fracassa holds the record for Michigan high school football victories (380 career wins).
