Altogether Outdoors provides authentic nature-based experiences for children and families across Colorado's Front Range. We create multilevel connections, with a focus on youth and community development, through nature exploration, choice, and play.
Altogether Outdoor is Accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed by the State of Colorado.
Founded and staffed by camp and youth development professionals, the Altogether Outdoors partners with parents and families to continue to build a powerful camp community throughout the summer.
We offer:
*Day camps from 8:30am to 4:30pm for campers ages 7-11 in Denver and Boulder
*Day camps from 8:30am to 2:30pm for campers ages 4.5-6 in Boulder, ages 5-6 in Denver
*Backpacking trips for campers ages 11-15 in the Denver & Boulder area
*Extended hours of care available from 7:45am to 6pm
Each day of the Altogether Outdoors has a consistent structure and routine, but no day is ordinary. On any given day, campers could be hiking a trail, making a journal about their experiences at camp, rock climbing, or learning about the environment and Leave No Trace ethics through nature crafts and games. Our campers are enthusiastic about the natural world, excited to get outside, and be actively engaged during the summer.
Campers will also participate in these developmentally-appropriate activities:
Hands-on environmental education programs
Daily opening and closing ceremonies
Campfire-style events with songs, skits and games
Teambuilding and challenge course activities
Orienteering and mapping adventures
An optional overnight camping out in tents or under the stars (please call if you have questions about this!)
