MORE ABOUT BROADWAY ARTISTS ALLIANCE:
Broadway Artists Alliance was founded with the goal of providing professional level training to talented young musical theatre performers. Located in the heart of New York City’s theatre district, BAA is uniquely situated to offer classes taught by TONY Award winners, Broadway performers and NYC’s top casting directors, agents, coaches and choreographers.
Under the guidance of our incredible faculty, BAA students explore their creative talents, develop their performance technique and build confidence in a challenging yet supportive environment. Students receive group instruction and private coaching in vocal technique, song interpretation, sight singing, monologue work, scene study, on-camera acting, ballet, tap, jazz and musical theatre dance.
Participants in our winter and summer intensives will be studying with New York's most prominent Broadway performers, music directors, choreographers, coaches, and directors. Guest speakers and Master Class instructors have featured Tony® Award-winners Sutton Foster, Bebe Newirth, Jason Robert Brown, Beth Leavel, Norbert Leo Butz, Alice Ripley and Christian Borle. Recent instructors include Sierra Boggess, Megan Hilty, Krysta Rodríguez, Eden Espinoza, and more!
BAA Students also gain insight into the professional world through class work, rehearsals, and industry showcases. They learn how to collaborate with other artists, make and keep industry contacts, set professional goals and market themselves to their best advantage. Our students receive exceptional training from the best in the business and, as a result, can be seen in Broadway and off-Broadway productions, national tours, film, television, commercials and print.
Students travel from all over the US as well as overseas to study and stay in the heart of Times Square in New York City.
Participation is selective and enrollment is limited. Applications are now being accepted for Winter, and Summer 2013-2014.
