Camp Greentop is a program of Camping & Therapeutic Recreation department at The League for People with Disabilities, a Baltimore based non-profit that offers vocational, recreational, medical day and wellness services to people of all abilities.
Since 1937, campers have explored Camp Greentop's rustic setting and participated in activities such as arts & crafts, horseback riding, swimming, sports, and much more. Adult campers also enjoy special day trips to Baltimore Oriole's baseball games, dinner theatres, tubing, rafting, jazz concerts and the list goes on.
The 2:1 camper to counselor ratio allows the staff to have exciting responsibilities and experiences when creating a program for more than 350 campers. There are more than 75 seasonal staff including administrators, counselors, program leaders, nurses and kitchen staff. Staff are successful in learning the skills needed for the summer in a 7-day orientation. When you join Camp Greentop, you will be part of a true team of professionals.
In addition to our main camp, Camp Greentop we also have a Travel Camp and League Pioneers. Travel Camp is where participants head off to locations such as Washington, DC, Ocean City, Williamsburg and other locations.
