YMCA Camp Shady Brook is a residential camp nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. It offers many activities for a variety of ages. Hand picked staff ensure core values are included in every experience.
YMCA Camp Shady Brook is located near Deckers Colorado. Surrounded by national forest the camp is scenic and serene. With a brook, lake and plenty of trails, there is no shortage of views in this setting.
Activities range from horseback riding to high ropes courses (including a zip line) with everything in between. Ages start at 6 to go up to 16 with something for everyone. Some fall in love with the GaGa pit. Others enjoy paddling around the lake. Still others thrive on the challenge of the climbing wall. No matter what becomes there favorite, they have a great time and plenty of opportunities to make new friends.
The staff are hand picked and trained to give campers a safe and memorable experience. Incorporating the four core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility into every aspect of the day is part of the job.
