More About Camp
Unalayee (Place of Friends in Cherokee) is located in the Trinity Alps wilderness of Northern California. We offer a 9 day program and as well as 15 day programs where youth get the chance to learn to live in the wilderness and make friends and have a great time at the same time. Campers can choose a program with two short backpacking trips and half the session spent in our wonderful base camp basin (complete with a lake, sports, arts and crafts, and much more!), or they can choose to spend the entire session out on the trail exploring the wilderness.
We also have programs for families and adults who want to get back into the woods. Contact the office for more information.
