Located on a 400 acre coastal peninsula in Maine, Chewonki offers a boy's camp program for 8-15 year olds, girls' wilderness resident camp, and a variety of coed wilderness expeditions for teens.
Founded in 1915 as a saltwater camp for boys, Chewonki has now grown into a year-round, non-profit environmental education organization. The boy's camp continues each summer with an emphasis in natural history, sailing and wilderness trips. In addition, a wilderness camp for girls only, ages 11-17 is offered, along with several coed wilderness expeditions for teens. Family camp and trips offered as well.
