Global Leadership Adventures (GLA)is an international community service program for high school students ages 15 to 18. GLA is unique because of its focus on leadership development and first-hand learning about global issues.
We just had two great sessions in Cape Town this past summer. Rene, a Summer Academy alumnus from St. Paul Academy, had this to say about her journey:
"Attending the Summer Summer Academy at Cape Town was an amazing experience for me. I met many interesting people and gained a whole new perspective for myself. It was an adventure that I'll never forget, and when I go back home, I feel that I will bring with me a whole new dimension in actions, thoughts, ideas and feelings."
Selom, a 2005 alumnus from Tema International School in Ghana, left the Summer Academy saying:
"Thank you for changing my life in ways you can’t even imagine. I know some day you will see me out there doing something great for my country."
