In the competitive world of college admission, every advantage counts. College prep at Mercersburg is an intensive week focused on getting students ready for the process. Participants will attend sessions on essay writing, interview skills, SAT/ACT prep, completing applications, maximizing college visits and much more. Each participant will have both a 30 minute group and personal interview with their designated college counselor. At the end of the week each student will walk away with a personalized profile, including a list of prospective schools. The program will also feature college visits to a range of public and private schools in the region including Georgetown University, American University and Dickinson College. College Prep at Mercersburg is directed by the National Association for College Admission Counseling(NACAC) past president and current director of College Counseling at Mercersburg Academy, Bill McClintick.
