More About Camp
Fun, friendships and adventures through activities that build confidence and moral character are at the core of Mountain Meadow's philosophy. We limit our enrollment to no more than 110 campers per session to promote a family-like environment where campers and staff alike are truly able to bond with one another and build friendships and learn new skills; camper to staff ratio is 1 to 5. It is a positive environment where self-esteem and self-confidence are built through fun, competitive games and activities. Mountain Meadow takes summer camp beyond just the normal, day to day offerings of traditional activities, with a focus on the individual as our number one priority at all times.
Traditional activities take place twice each weekday, when campers have the freedom to choose the activity they wish to participate in; nothing is scheduled or regimented. Weekends are reserved for all-camp games when the entire camp family is divided into teams, competing in fun activities such as Capture the Flag, Swim Meets, and other fun relays.
All counselors are carefully screened by our directors prior to hiring, to ensure that we have the most mature, responsible and fun-loving staff. Campers and staff stay in cabins, fully enclosed with bathrooms in each, and divided by age and grade level.
We encourage you to consider us for your camping experience for Summer 2007 and look forward to hearing from you soon!
