The GREAT summer camps are aimed at students who want to unleash their creativity while learning about computer graphics, robotics and programming by making games, animations, and robots.
The GREAT camp provides engineering and technology fun for students entering 4th through 12th grades. All of our programs follow the same basic recipe for success: provide opportunities for students to creatively challenge themselves in an environment with frequent, high-quality guidance. Here is a description of our current programs.
Elementary
We currently offer three different camps for upper elementary students. Two use Scratch, a popular programming environment designed for making simple animations and games, and the third supports the First Lego League teams in Utah by training students for these robotics competitions.
Middle School
Our popular middle school program combines a 3D programmable world and LEGO Mindstorms robotics for a fast-paced week of activity.
High School
High school students can choose from an innovative Arduino microcontroller robotics camp or an extended game programming camp using the Python Programming language.
