YMCA Camp Oakasha Staff are committed to the safety and fun of each child and work hard to give campers the best days of their lives! Campers will be actively involved with peers in a positive and meaningful way. Each one-week session has a different theme that guides the special programming for the week, adding variety and flexibility for each camper. Everyday campers will have the opportunity to swim in our pool and participate in a variety of activities including Archery, Boating, Climbing, Arts & Crafts, Nature, Sports, and a new camp favorite: Gaga Dodgeball! We also offer field trips every other session, to allow campers to experience adventures in Connecticut with their new friends and favorite staff members!
YMCA Camp Oakasha is for families! We will have three family nights this summer that offer families the opportunity to take part in all of the camp fun that their children get every day. All families from the summer are welcome to attend at no additional cost!
