Active Challenge is a remarkable adventure program where young women ages 13-18 develop healthy habits, lose weight, and build confidence. Located at beautiful Bear Creek Outdoor near Ottawa Ontario. Active Challenge offers instruction in adventure-based programs such as canoeing, whitewater rafting and beginner rock climbing and rappelling. Active Challenge is a weight loss program exclusively for young women. At Active Challenge you'll make lifelong friends with young women your own age, learn to love new adventurous activities and make permanent lifestyle changes at a program that will change your life. The staff at Active Challenge combine experienced outdoor adventure professionals with highly qualified clinicians. All of us are absolutely committed to helping campers achieve permanent behavioral change and weight loss. Most of all we are committed to having a great time doing it. Make this a great summer and one of new beginnings at Active Challenge 2006 Activities include: Hiking Rafting Canoeing Canoe tripping Yoga Cooking Camp skills Mountain biking Leadership Ropes/challenge course Nutrition classes Swimming Pre Camp Upon registration in Active Challenge 2006 an enrollment package will be sent out to you with forms to be completed prior to camp as well as program preparation materials, an introduction to Active Challenge and pre-program personal challenge assignments to get you on your way toward a healthier you. Post Camp Our post-camp follow up program is included in your tuition fees and includes correspondence materials (email and regular post) and communication with your camp councilor to help you keep up the good work started at camp and motivate you to maintain your good habits. Our Varsity Women's Camp in June is specially designed for young women 18-25. Our Family camp is a one week team approach to weight management for younger campers and their parents.
