Camp Kippewa is 3 1/2 weeks long. No two girls are exactly alike. Why should their summers be? Experience customized camping at Camp Kippewa, a unique all-girls overnight camp in Maine for ages 7 to 15. In each session, girls create their own weekly schedule from a tremendous array of activities, participating in six activity blocks daily. The Arts program offers over 20 disciplines of fine arts & crafts and dance & theater. Onsite horseback riding facilities host an unbeatable Equestrian program where campers can ride daily. Lake Cobbosseecontee is the perfect setting for top-notch Water Sports instruction in waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking. The program also offers a variety of Land Sports including tennis, gymnastics, softball and lacrosse. Campers enjoy the natural setting of Maine with ocean sailing trips, beach days, wilderness hikes and canoe trips.
Camp Kippewa Point offers girls, ages 6-13, the complete two week traditional camp experience! Our campers explore everything we have to offer through our hybrid approach to scheduling, while also enjoying activities of their choice. All campers arrive together, experience camp together, and depart together!
Kippewa Equestrian Academy is a two -week fully-immersive experience for girls entering 4th – 11th grades who want to improve their riding skills and expand their equine knowledge! Girls of all ability levels are welcome. Whether an enthusiastic beginner, an advanced rider, or anything in between, academy campers enjoy summer experiencing the equestrian lifestyle while also having access to traditional camp activities such as swimming in our beautiful lake, doing archery, enjoying campfires and tie dye and more!
The directors at Kippewa believe every girl needs a safe, fun place to make friends, to learn social, artistic, and athletic skills, and to take childhood's steps toward the independence of adulthood. The caring, nurturing ambiance of sleepaway camp at Kippewa sets a girl at ease with who she is, giving her the confidence to make friends easily and feel comfortable about trying challenging new activities.
