Since 1999 over 130,000 students worldwide have immersed in hands-on learning to create iPhone apps, programs with C++ and Java, video games, websites, movies, 3D models, ad designs, robots, films, and photos. Beginner to advanced students ages 7-17 enroll in these fun and challenging, weeklong, day and overnight summer camps held at 60 prestigious universities nationwide (see below).
Small class sizes (max 8:1) are guaranteed and taught by adult-only instructors, with Teens, pre-Teens, and younger students separated into different classes. Students learn personalized curriculum with a small group of peers, allowing them to optimize learning and social experiences. iD Tech Camps has been at the forefront of technology learning since 1999, and there’s never been a better or more important time to engage in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education. Accredited Continuing Education Units from Stanford or Villanova are also available to help build a portfolio for college.

The Northern Arizona University Centennial Forest Environmental Education Programs houses one-week camp sessions at our Education and Research Field Campus in the ponderosa pine forest of Flagstaff, AZ.

The Junior & Senior Forestry Academies are equipped to teach kids about wildlife, forest habitat, land ethics and more through hands-on activities. The Outdoor Leadership Academy is a program teaching kids to be leaders through survival skills, wilderness, land ethics and more through a group-activity based curriculum. Our brand new program, the Climate Change Challenge, is for our older students to create realistic solutions to global climate change. Campers will be introduced to numerous environmental career fields which will provide the necessary tools to make recommendations toward this global issue.

Join the Museum of Northern Arizona’s Discovery Program for a summer full of creative and meaningful exploration. The wonders of the Colorado Plateau will be an inspiration as you join experienced local educators for a hands-on tour of the region’s traditions of fine arts, natural sciences, and Native cultures. Week-long classes for youths ages 4 to 17 are offered each summer. Registration opens each year around the beginning of April. The Science, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Advanced Summer Workshop brings the world of
science and business together with an emphasis on innovating new products. Kids, ages 8 to 12, will explore the science of plastic to create their own toys or games that can eventually be taken to the marketplace. Kids will learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and develop a business plan around their new product while incorporating the latest technology to create their advertising collateral.
The Advanced Workshop includes all science materials for the kids to develop their prototypes along with their own patent-pending Biz in a Boxx.
