1. The Dirty Apron Kids and Teen Cooking Camp - This summer The Dirty Apron Cooking School has action packed weeklong cooking camps for kids and teens ages 7-17.
Day Camp
Coed

Starting July 2nd, The Dirty Apron Cooking School at 540 Beatty Street is offering weeklong cooking camps for kids and teens in an action-packed kitchen classroom. Under the instruction of Dirty Apron owner and head instructor David Robertson, students will measure, chop, sift, sauté, and eat their way to newfound knowledge, skills, and attitudes toward food.

Designed with young learners in mind, students will be actively engaged in the cooking process from start to finish. A parent himself, David has a great sense of what kids love to make in the kitchen, and will guide students as they create dishes from around the world. With a focus on team building and making new friends, each day will see different dishes made with fresh and local ingredients. After the chefs-in-training have created their meals, they will dine together, enjoying the fruits of their labour around The Dirty Apron’s harvest table.

The camp will be offered for ages 7-11 and 12-17, with classes running Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm throughout July and August. Space will be limited to 20 students per class. Tuition for the camp is priced at $490 and includes a daily recipe book, hands-on cooking with close supervision, all meals, and their very own Dirty Apron.
