GIRLS HORSE CAMP!!
Hey Girls! Here we go again!  Another season will soon be here and it'll be time to saddle up and ride!
     This year we're going to be hosting some very special guests.  "Dr. Erica", a veterinarian, will be here to explain what it takes to be a horse doctor.  "Jen", the farrier, will take us through the process of trimming and shoeing a horse.  And of course Kayla and Kaylee will be here once again giving hands on lessons on training and showing your horse.
All that and still get 3 hours of riding every day!
     Your day will start with a very special "alarm clock"!  After breakfast you will get your own horse to love and learn on.  Each day before you head out for your first ride you will be grooming, saddling, and bridling your horse.  After riding, your day will be filled with horse craft time, riding, games, secret pasture picnics, more riding, hayrides and of course an evening campfire to share your stories from the day.  
     As you can see, we're all about the horses here, that's why Wild West is the best!

Camp Dovewood celebrates 34 years of dynamic Christian Camping in North Florida. Not only do girls ages 7-16 have the opportunity to participate in 24 fun filled activities, but meet girls from all over the southeast that are wholesome, Christian girls.
Dovewood has a fabulous equestrian program with 32 horses of all breeds and riding levels, three rings and an excellent english, western, dressage, rodeo, vet care, and stable management program. If you love horses, want to learn more about techniques of riding, enjoy horse shows, trail riding and horse care, you will enjoy the riding classes at Dovewood.

Week long camp at the 4700 acre Forever Florida wildlife conservation area in Central Florida near Melbourne, Kissimmee and Orlando. Sunny Time Stables offers lessons catering to each clients needs. All ages are welcome, english- hunt seat, dressage, & western. We have trail rides and board, and rescue horses. Our horses are especially well trained to handle any need, so you can enjoy your ride. We teach many groups such as ARC, Teen Challenge, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts. I have 30 yrs. of professional experience. We also board horses. We are a friendly group. We show in Wellington and locally. Summer camp-full/part time. Affordably priced at $175. half day and $255. full day. Child counselor ratio is kept low 1 to 5 campers. Children get their own horse or pony for the week. They learn basic horsemanship skills while spending at least an hour a day riding.

Our camp is open to children with or without previous riding experience. They just have to be HORSE-CRAZY.

Besides riding, each camper will learn how to groom, tack-up, bathe and feed. Hands on horse care is the norm and fun is the name of the game! Western Speed events, English, trail riding, obstacle course training, basic riding skills, stable management and happy horsemanship are encouraged. We want to learn how to think like a horse. We offer horse related projects, art and video, and water activities. We want horses and humans to be happy and healthy!

Sessions start the week of June 19 and continue thru the week of August 18th. The final week is an advanced camp week of 3 days t-th for our regular students. Each Session runs Monday thru Friday, 9AM- 2pm. The cost is $180 per week. Aftercare thru 5:30pm is available for an additional $65 per week. A non-refundable deposit of $50 due with form. My First Horse Camp together with Bass and Bridle Western Summer Camp offers a summer day camp for horseback riding and instruction. This program was designed for young horse lover’s ages 5 and up that want to know more about horses and learn how to ride them. Our program is structured, educational, and fun! Some of the Horsemanship skills that you will learn or improve on include: Safety & Handling, Grooming, Tack, Mount/Dismount, Western Riding, Trail Riding, Nutrition & Exercise, Housing, Horse Health Care, and Breeds.

Join the fun with daily riding, horse games, art and crafts, and other exciting events. The children will learn all kinds of horsemanship skills while making new friends, and getting to know the horses. The campers will learn about horse anatomy, horse grooming and care, breeds confirmations, markings and safety. They will also learn how to tack up a horse, clean tack, bathe a horse and how to muck a stall. Each child will be assigned their own horse for that week. There will be guest visits including veterinarians, dentist, and blacksmiths. Camp starts June 6th runs till August 8th. Jupiter Equestrian Center and Sandi Trails proudly present our 2012 camp season! Our next camp session will be Spring Break 2012, followed by Summer Camp 2012. Camp is located on a beautiful 20 acre farm in a guard-gated community in Jupiter, Florida. Campers will enjoy learning safety, grooming, tacking, and riding on our fabulous 24 horses and 7 ponies. All camp activities are facilitated by professional trainers, child care specialists, and advanced level working students. Campers will enjoy other activities including fishing, boating, arts and crafts, games, pizza parties, and horse movies. Equestrian Summer Camp

Beginner Horsemanship Day Camp Week of June 22, 2009, M - F 9am till 5:30 pm (later pickup times available to accommodate working parents) Ages 5 to 16 ($185.00 for the week)

Horsemanship Camp will teach children the basics of riding. Children will learn how to control the horse on the ground and in the saddle. They will learn horse care and grooming including braiding manes and tails. Children will ride both English and Western this week. This camp will accommodate riders who have never ridden up to Walk/Trotters and lots of other activities during the week as well. The YMCA Camp Indian Springs is a traditional YMCA residential camping program serving children ages 7 to 16 years with exciting options like an indoor skate park, BMX, ATVs, paintball as well as Western and English horseback riding. Celebrating our 33rd year in 2008 and built on the Christian heritage of the YMCA, we value honesty, caring, respect and responsibility.

Week 1 June 13th thru 17th Beginners Fun Camp – Designed for children ages 4 upwards who have little to no riding experience. All children will get to ride daily with basic instruction. Will also learn about horse care, feeding, farrier and vet care. Lots of hands on experience and fun end of camp show for parents to watch. $275 for week 9am -2pm daily – bring lunch!
Week 2 June 27th thru July 1st Hunter/Jumper Camp – Designed for intermediate thru experienced riders who want to spend time enhancing their skills while having fun at the farm! Lots of riding time and will include a clinic with our professional trainer to help progress your child to bigger and better things! Performance show at end of camp for parents to watch. $300 for week 9am thru 2pm daily – bring lunch!
Week 3 July 11th thru 15th Trail Riding/Obstacle Challenge Camp-
Open to all levels of riders from 5yrs up –this is a fun camp to include trail riding and also how to negotiate an obstacle course in the arena. Doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or experienced rider – we can teach you something new! Lots of riding time and fun with the horses! Obstacle trail challenge show at end of week for parents to watch. $275 for week 9am-2pm daily – bring lunch!

We offer Saddle and Swim day camps which are one week long per session. Camps are for a broad range of experience levels, from no experience to years of training. Basic horsemanship, Western, and English are available. Children will ride and learn many aspects of horsemanship for the first few hours of each day. The rest of the camp day will include arts and crafts as well as cooling off in the pool. The last day of camp is generally a "show off" day for parents to see the progress.
