Experience the unique setting of living, working, and playing at a real working ranch camp! Horseback riding is often central to programming at summer ranch camps. Western riding technique and vaulting (gymnastics on horseback) are typical core instruction components. Animal care, roping, swimming, and other sports are often a part of a summer ranch camp's program.

GIRLS HORSE CAMP!!
Hey Girls! Here we go again!  Another season will soon be here and it'll be time to saddle up and ride!
This year we're going to be hosting some very special guests.  "Dr. Erica", a veterinarian, will be here to explain what it takes to be a horse doctor.  "Jen", the farrier, will take us through the process of trimming and shoeing a horse.  And of course Kayla and Kaylee will be here once again giving hands on lessons on training and showing your horse.
All that and still get 3 hours of riding every day!
Your day will start with a very special "alarm clock"!  After breakfast you will get your own horse to love and learn on.  Each day before you head out for your first ride you will be grooming, saddling, and bridling your horse.  After riding, your day will be filled with horse craft time, riding, games, secret pasture picnics, more riding, hayrides and of course an evening campfire to share your stories from the day.
As you can see, we're all about the horses here, that's why Wild West is the best!

The horses are here! Will you be?
Sign up soon, I expect this will be a very busy summer for
Wild West Girls Horse Camp!

Situated on 220 acres of some of the prettiest land in the upper-Midwest, Village Creek has much more to offer than just its beautiful setting. Our facilities can comfortably serve groups up to 250 for retreats and 200 campers during our summer camping season. Almost all rooms have air conditioning available and many rooms have private baths. We also have an air conditioned full-size gym complex as well as our many exciting outdoor activity areas. The Blob, kayaking, fishing and the beach are some of the highlights at the lake. We also have an extensive paintball program, archery, high and low ropes challenge course with one of the longest zip-lines in the Midwest. Trail-riding, horsemanship instruction as well as horsemanship camps are a core program of Village Creek utilizing our beautiful surroundings as well as a large arena. Our Bungee trampolines and 100’ waterslide are two camp favorites as well.
We take great pride how we strive to serve each guest no matter what their age and make each person feel welcome and cared for. Part of our excellent service is the great food you will enjoy. You’ll leave full but wanting more. Fresh baked breads, great variety and the ability to meet your special dietary needs are a part of what makes our foodservice one of the best.
Give us the opportunity to serve you or your group and we believe you will be blessed. We would love to have you be part of one of our programs that we put on with one of the many excellent speakers and musicians that we bring in or book your own group and let us help you put your program together to best meet your needs.

Sincerely,
The Staff of VCBC
