1. Terrapin Adventures Ultimate Adventure Camp - Our camp offers a wide range of outdoor activities, Terrapin Adventures has a zip line, giant Swing. Low and high ropes challenge course, climbing tower, as well as mountain biking trails, rapelling, river tubing and geo-caching.

Terrapin Adventures is up and running for its fourth summer. Our camp will bring out the adventure seeker in your child. Try and conquer our 43 foot Climbing Tower with 12 different climbing elements. These elements range from rock walls and cargo nets, to rope ladders and unique obstacles Face your fears while on our 50ft, 3 level High Ropes Challenge Course with 18 different challenges that range from rope bridges and logs, to mini zip lines and swings. Campers will also enjoy mountain biking through along the Savage Mill Trail and along the Patuxent River while exploring the historic area of its local flora and fauna. Campers will also test their GPS and geo-caching skills while searching for hidden treasures. Floating down the Patapsco River is a great way to beat the summer heat while also exploring the local environment. The last day of camp, campers will use all the skills they have learned through out the week and compete in an Olympic style adventure with a pizza party. Campers will get a chance to work on their leadership skills as well as communication, trust, respect, decision making, and self esteem while in an active outdoor setting.

River Valley allows campers to enjoy a variety of activites including: Adventure activities, Xtreme Sports, Horseback riding, Rodeo Sports, Traditional Sports, Swimming and much more. There are three main camp facilities on the 580 acre Ranch in Carroll County Maryland. Arrowhead Woods is a program for campers between the ages of 7 and 9. Fort Roller is a camp for children between the ages of 9 and 12, and Frontier Town is a camp for students ages 12 to 17. The summer camp runs for eight weeks, with each individual week starting on Sunday afternoon and ending on Friday evening. Come enjoy a week of fun that will create lifelong memories. River Valley Ranch is a non-denominational, Bible believing organization sponsored by the Peter John Radio Fellowship, Inc.

Christian camp with weekly themed activities. Camp sessions accomodate 10 campers weekly. Camp averages over 70 different children yearly. The camp offers a smaller setting but with all the fun field trips for an exciting summer. Regular activities include Bible lessons, skating trips,library visits, music lessons, museum visits, visits to children's theatrical shows, surprise guests, hourly activities & more! Academically, the campers will have the opportunity to strengthen reading skills and math skills every week for a set amount of time appropriate for their age. Developmentally there will be opportunities for campers to develop self confidence,and form positive peer relationships. The camp is appropriate for ages 5-11. Camp tuition is $170 per week. 10. Walt Williams Basketball Camp - Former NBA Star, Walt Williams, will host his annual Basketball Camp at Oxon Hill High School in PG County MD.

Former NBA Star, Walt Williams, will host his annual Basketball Camp at Oxon Hill High School in PG County MD. The week-long camp will be held July 28-Aug 1. The Wiz Kidz Basketball Camp is a venue for Walt to pass on techniques adapted from his college and NBA experience. The Camp teaches the fundamentals of basketball, emphasizing defense, shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding & team & individual development skills. Past guests include Marcus Camby, Steve Francis & Moochie Norris.
